I've come here two time so far, and I'll tell you this one of the better sandwich shops in Alameda. Located on Webster, this sandwich shop is well decorated, clean, and has a large open space. Very calm environment as well. The hospitality is top notch; the employees are kind and are always asking you how the food was, etc. The sandwiches themselves, are so delicious with spreads, fresh and full of ingredients, just one sandwich order can feed 2 people. They make sure to make your stomach full and your heart happy. Will be coming again!

The cutest new family owned sandwich shop opened in Alameda! They have a wide range of menu options to choose from AND can do build-your-own upon request :) I tried the Turkey-Avocado on dutch crunch and my mom tried their BBQ Chicken on french roll. Both sandwiches were delectable and the ingredients were fresh as can be! You can truly taste the care and love they are putting into each sandwich Personally will be back regularly

Great family run sandwich shop with friendly service. I love the Alameda sandwich and homemade mac salad. I ordered ahead some sandwiches for and event and everything was nicely packed and ready for pickup at the requested time. My guests really loved the sandwiches, too.

Great sandwiches. The ingredients are higher quality than other sandwich places and they are very generous with veggies, toppings, meat, etc. The turkey is actually hand carved, not packaged. All the veggies were perfectly ripe, not over or under. Great selection of beverages, including many healthy choices. The staff are very friendly and kind, they will even build a custom sandwich for you. I really got the feeling that they care about the customer's experience. I'll be returning here. Also, very much appreciated the outdoor seating!

Rose's Sandwich Shop is located at 1552 Webster Street, Alameda. This sandwich shop is family owned. They just opened a month ago. A fellow yelper mentioned this business to me. The first time I stopped in was about two weeks ago. I ordered a #13 (Italian) and a #21 (Pastrami) on whole wheat roll. Both sandwiches were delicious. Rose's has a variety of sandwiches, ranging in price from $4.95 for a #27 (PBJ) sandwich to $13.95 for a #5 (Giant). The ambience is a well lit venue with floral centerpieces at each table. The menu board is mounted on the walls. Assortment of beverages and chips are to the right of the entrance. The deli refrigerated case has cheeses, meats and homemade salads. Earlier this evening (2/2/2024), I ordered a #14 (veggie) on marbled rye. The sandwich was very good, but there was no alfalfa sprouts in the sandwich. I will return another time to order #1 (Alameda). The Alameda consists of homemade roast turkey, bacon, tomato, cranberry, pepperjack cheese. mayo, mustard, pickle and pepperoncini. Roll choices: French roll, Dutch crunch roll, whole wheat roll, sourdough, onion roll; sliced bread: whole wheat, white, sourdough, marbled rye, light rye.

Guys!! If you want the tastiest sandwich, order the Kristine, you cannot go wrong with it. Service is amazing, a lovely family run business that makes every order with love. I always come here on break when i come back from college :)

The freshness crisp of the vegetables in their sandwiches brings to light the greatest flavors together. I bought a tuna sandwich and might I say it had the right texture, complementing the fillings. Thank you Rose and welcome to the community . This is the best sandwich I have had in a long time. Great new sandwich spot in Alameda with wonderful atmosphere.
